Uniform Angel Project

The community Services Agency of South Texas, Inc. (CSA) would like to report that the Angel Project was very successful in helping needy families with school uniforms for the new school year. A total of 32 families were helped to make sure their students had school uniforms , shoes, under garments, socks and other school accessories when school opened. $3,000 dollars in monetary donations were collected from several community donors. several families and individuals from the community donated the school uniforms which allowed the project to serve more families. CSA would like to recognize Evelyn Castro the school district truant officer who played a major role in identifying the families who were most in need and she was very instrumental in working with CSA to collect the donations. CSA would like to continue with the collection of school uniforms so that they may be available to those in need. If you have some school uniforms which are in good condition or if you would like to make a monetary donation please contact Mirtha Hernandez at (830)876-5219 and or/ Evelyn Castro at (830)-8768599 so that we can make arrangements to collect your donations .
